What a brilliant and useful book - with most beautiful photos and lots of information about the Kgalagadi. A must have for every Kgalagadi over. Everybody who worked on this publication must be congratulated.

What an amazing new version of an already spectacular book. Great new photographs, and many new comments for us to follow on our next trip to the park. Well done on the new update.

I would like to add that in my earlier review I omitted the word "not" when I referred to so many other coffee table books having text that does not really inform. I meant to highlight the difference between this book and those. The Rift - Scar of Africa is not only a visual feast, it is extremely interesting to read, too.

This revised and updated edition is full of information and photographs relating to the roads, waterholes and camps of the Kgalagadi - a beautiful and very useful book.

Excellent information, well laid out and comprehensive. Very helpful maps and route info. Also great help on where to spot wildlife. The identification illustrations are also awesome.
